Meet Fitness at the Rec

The Carrillo Recreation Center, partnering with Sweat SB Fitness and Personal Trainers, are launching a new fitness program to bring a public health impact to downtown Santa Barbara. What makes “Fitness at the Rec” unique is that classes are taught by highly certified instructors and personal trainers who love to help bring out the best in you at a low cost.

“Why such a low price you may ask?” Our vision at Sweat SB Fitness, in partnership with the Carrillo Recreation Center and Personal Trainers, is to promote a public health impact in the city of Santa Barbara. Our mission is to give everyone access to fun and affordable workouts that will promote a healthy lifestyle.

Classes are geared to all levels, individual attention, and only 45 minutes. But the best part is the price, only $30 a month for access to all classes and no joining fee. There is no contract so you can cancel anytime.

OUR CLASSES

All classes:  All fitness levels are welcome!  No previous experience is necessary and modifications are offered. Classes this week are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:05 to 12:50 at the Carrillo Recreation Center. Move, dance, sweat, and have some fun!!

Mondays: “Core and Conditioning”
12:05-12:50 pm

This workout will help you develop strong core stabilization and full body strength and balance.  

Tuesday’s: “Functional Fitness”
11:05-11:50 pm

Be empowered through better balance, and enhanced coordination and learn the mechanics of exercise.

Wednesday’s: “Pilates Express”
12:05-12:50 pm

An efficient, classically based flowing mat class guaranteed to lengthen, strengthen and work that core. You will leave taller and energized!

Friday’s: “Sculpt and Stretch”
12:05-12:50 pm

Get ready for whatever the weekend holds with this low impact class designed to strengthen and lengthen every muscle in your body.
